Motor1 Apple Car Imagined

As rumors mount and facts are collected regarding Apple’s Project Titan Apple Car venture, it seems most of all, people want to know what it will look like. There have been several attempts by many since the beginning to provide Apple Car concepts of what it will come to be. Just use Google and type “Apple Car”, click images, and you will see a myriad of renderings.

Not too long ago, Motortrend did a post that caught much controversy because people were led to believe that the journalists had inside pictures of the “real” Apple Car. However, it was just an art team doing renderings.

Samir Sadkhov of Motor1 (not affiliated with Motortrend), a European Institute of Design Graduate, has taken the most recent attempt at Apple Car imagining. He took second place in the Ferrari World Design Contest and has also worked on Lamborghinis. As you can see below though, his Apple Car is no European race car. It looks more like something that GM’s Saturn may have designed.

Samir’s take on the Apple Car is simple, refined and minimalist. This is much like everything that the company has always stood for. He adds an interesting display screen at the bottom of the front door on both sides of the vehicle. You can see in the pics it says “Apple Car Sharing” and “Autonomous Mode”, however it is told that it could be used to display any message the user chooses.

  1. Those are excellent renderings. The car is attractive with high tech appeal. I think it is the best looking rendering I’ve seen so far…way beyond the Motor Trend effort.

One nitpick: Does it appear the throttle pedal and brake pedal are reversed?
