Apple Launches New Stuff, Car Not Mentioned

Here at Applecarfans we are first and foremost fans of the Apple Car.  We are vigilant for any and all news about the future vehicle.

Leading up to the day you can finally drive one, there will be tremendous amounts of Apple news along the way.

The news is usually focused around product announcement events that the company generally holds in March, June and September.

Today marks the first one of these events since the launch of this site.

Apple has announced the following new products:

    1. Apple Watch update.
      New bands for the Apple watch, including several colors of a new nylon strap and a black Milanese loop.  Also a new lower starting price for the Apple Watch of $299

    2.  A new product called the iPhone SE.
      Smaller form with a 4 inch screen and powerful A9 processor and 12 megapixel camera.  Also chamfered edge design with faster LTE and WiFi.  Lower starting price of $399 for 16 GB – orders begin March 24. Shipping March 31.
    3. New iOS 9.3 operating system which will also be on CarPlay OS, now in over 100 vehicle models.
    4. A new iPad Pro.  This is a smaller 9.7 inch version of the recently released 13 inch iPad Pro.  Has improved display and sound system compared to older iPad Air2.  Starts at $599 for 32 GB model.  Also goes up to 256GB for $899. Available for pre-order on March24.


None of these specifically relate to the Apple car.  But you never know, because information is often leaked from the reporter scrums, we will be on the lookout for information coming from the period after the event.
